- Daily PokerStars £2K Freerolls for Irish and UK Players
In an effort to help keep its players cozy and warm during two of the harshest months of winter, PokerStars has just announced that they will be running daily freeroll tournaments, each with a £2,000 guaranteed prize pool, open to players living in the United Kingdom or Ireland only.
PokerStars will be running these Daily £2,000 Freerolls starting now and running for the next 6 weeks. Each one starts at 21:30 pm GMT with a second smaller freeroll for those who showed up too late to register for the big one (or who busted out early) an hour later at 22:30 pm GMT with a guaranteed prize pool of £250.
The £2,000 PokerStars Daily Freeroll is a re-buy event, should a player bust out sooner than they'd like and wish to re-enter, with an inexpensive rebuy of only 50c.
Meanwhile, the next stop on the newly created PokerStars UK and Ireland Poker Tour (UKIPT) is happening February 11 - 14 in Manchester, England. The UKIPT is newest innovation from the creators of the APPT (Asia Pacific Poker Tour), the also new NAPT (North American Poker Tour), and of course the long-standing favorite, the EPT (European Poker Tour), all of which PokerStars runs satellites for throughout the year.
